If You Knew Me

throbbing ribs
misplaced your shame
weakened bones
but none are lame

shaking walks
and lengthened lives
so take the metal
while I lie

evidenced
in lesser tales
you can't hide
behind my veil

mistakes are shown
you cover's blown
now I can finally be my own

for with this paint
all on my hands
this once red wall
still couldn't stand
