even though you're scatter-brained
and hair stands out on end
you're polished prim
while others prime and cover up their skin
i know you, you just don't know
that i am so inclined
to muster up the courage
just to say what's on my mind

my head falls off
without a bite
a laugh instead could kill
just to hug my mother
it is more than just a thrill
